By accessing or using AquaClue, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. This Agreement is governed by applicable laws of India, including the Information Technology Act 2000, Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, Indian Contract Act 1872, and Copyright Act 1957.
2. About AquaClue
AquaClue is an aquaculture technology platform focused on aquatic animal health management. The platform provides AI-driven insights and analytics, water quality and farm data tracking, disease detection support, and decision-support tools for farmers.
AquaClue is designed to be accessible, affordable, and functional even without hardware integration.
Important Notice:
AquaClue officially operates under the .co.in domain. Any similar-looking domains (including .com variants) are not associated with AquaClue.
3. Nature of Services (Important Disclaimer)
All outputs generated by AquaClue:
- Are advisory in nature
- Are based on data inputs and algorithmic models
- May not always be accurate or complete
AquaClue does not provide veterinary advice, medical diagnosis, or guaranteed outcomes. Users must independently verify insights before making critical decisions.
4. User Eligibility & Account Responsibility
By using AquaClue, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement and the information you provide is accurate. You are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activities under your account.
5. Information We Collect

- Name, email, phone number
- Farm or pond details (district/state level, species, culture type)
- Login credentials (securely stored)
- Feedback, queries, uploaded images, logs, and notes
5.2 Automatically Collected Information
- Device and browser information
- IP address (for security and analytics)
- Usage patterns and activity logs
- Error logs and system performance data
5.3 Sensor and IoT Data (Optional)
Water quality parameters (pH, temperature, turbidity, ammonia, etc.) and environmental data (humidity, UV, air temperature). Note: AquaClue functions without sensors. Hardware integration is optional.
6. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to provide AI-based insights and recommendations, generate trends, alerts, and analytics, improve platform performance and accuracy, ensure security and prevent misuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data.
7. AI, Analytics, and Decision Support
AquaClue uses AI and rule-based systems that operate on aggregated and anonymized data where possible and provide probabilistic outputs. All recommendations are decision-support tools only, and users retain full responsibility for decisions taken.
9. Data Storage and Security
We implement reasonable safeguards including encrypted communication (HTTPS), secure servers and access control, and authentication mechanisms. Data may be stored locally (e.g., IndexedDB for offline functionality) or synced to cloud servers (if enabled by user). No system is completely secure. Use of the Services implies acceptance of this risk.
10. User Rights (India)
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, users have the right to access personal data, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, and withdraw consent. Requests can be made at: hi.aquaclue@gmail.com
11. Data Retention
We retain data as long as your account is active and as required for legal and operational purposes. Anonymized or aggregated data may be retained indefinitely.
12. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights related to AquaClue are protected under the Copyright Act 1957, including software and platform architecture, AI models and algorithms, data structures and analytics, and branding and design. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services. Users retain ownership of raw data submitted but grant AquaClue a license to use, process, and analyze such data.
13. Prohibited Activities
Users shall not reverse-engineer or copy the platform, extract or resell data, attempt unauthorized access, or use the Services for illegal purposes. Violations may result in immediate termination of access.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted under law, AquaClue shall not be liable for aquaculture losses or fish mortality, disease outbreaks, financial or operational losses, or inaccurate predictions or insights. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
15. Termination
AquaClue reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violation of terms, misuse, or at its discretion.
